Download Application BT Guard for Nokia 5800, N97, X6, 5230 and 5530

BT Guard is a security application that automatically changes Bluetooth status according to your settings. This secures your mobile from BT attacks and saves battery life. BT Guard can be activated by selecting the BT Guard icon in the Application list.

BT Guard provides you a list of settings, which you have to set according to your wishes. You have following options in BT Guard application:
  • BT Guard is (Active/Inactive) : You can turn the application on (active) or set it off (inactive). You can change this option by pressing Fire button.
  • Autostart (On/Off) : To start the application automatically every time the mobile starts. You can turn the Autostart option on (active) or set it off (inactive).
  • Change BT after (idle time) : To change Bluetooth automatically please enter idle time after which the Bluetooth will change its status. To turn it off type 00:00. Change Bluetooth option will be turned to Never.
  • Set BT to (status) : There are two status available - "Off" to set it inactive and "On invisible" to turn  Bluetooth on but make your phone invisible to others.
  • Ask (when BT is active) : Before changing the Bluetooth status the application can ask you for confirmation. You can choose this option to Always, Never or When active.
  • When BT connected (choose action) : When BT connection is active (for example when BT Headset is active) you can choose if you wish to be asked about the BT status change or not. If you wish not to be asked, please choose No action option.
The BT Guard application is developed by SymbianGuru. The application works with Symbian S60 5th mobiles such as Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, N97, N97 Mini, X6, 5230, 5233, 5235 and 5530 XpressMusic. The version 2.3.0 of BT Guard application can be downloaded from the following link.
