Newton's Cradle (Black Edition) is a Symbian S60 5th entertainment application where you can activate the cradle by touching a ball on your screen. Move your finger across the screen, and release the ball, and watch the ball in motion. Newton ’s Cradle application uses the concept of the 80s executive toy and aims to replicate this functionality on a Nokia screen.
The interface of this app displays a set of balls as would be seen in a real Newton’s Cradle. The balls can be activated to be set in motion, swinging and creating a chain reaction of motion throughout the other balls. The height of the swing motion will be dictated by how high the activated ball is set, and will lessen slowly until the balls are at rest.
The interface allows you to change the scenery. The available scenery types are-

- Solar System
- City Lights
- Sky High
- and Arcade
The application works in full screen (640x360) landscape only mode. The graphics of this application is really cool. The application is developed by Marvellous.
