Boom Blox is a puzzle game for Symbian S60 5th edition based mobiles (Nokia 5800 XpressMusic, N97, N97 Mini, X6 and 5530 XpressMusic). The game presents a series of physics-based puzzles, the objective being either to keep structures made of blocks from being knocked down or to knock them over by shooting at the blocks.
Boom Blox game features a realistic physics system; the angle at which a projectile (ball) is launched and how fast it is thrown as well as the mass of the projectile (ball) and the type of blocks it comes into contact with influence the results of an action.
In this version of Boom Blox game, players must score points by knocking star blocks off the game board, while avoiding skull blocks, within a limited amount of shots from their game ball. Special block types help create chain reactions and when activated properly, aid the player in scoring points in game controls.
Move the aiming reticle with the touch screen. shoot by touching the centre of the rectile on the touch screen. Adjust shot power by holding the shoot control until the power bar shows the desired power level, then release to shoot. There are three game modes:
Single Player: Solve puzzle boards to unlock advanced block types. Once a new block type has been unlocked, players may use them in their custom levels.
Level Editior: Players have the chance to build their own board creations and save them to be uploaded in their own custom level.
Online Community: Custom boards from other players in the Boom Blox community can be found and downloaded, once played, players receive point scores depending on their performance and a rating is applied to the custom levels.
The game is developed by IUGO Mobile Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts Inc. The game works in full screen (360*640) mode and offers cool graphics and sound.
